Hi everyone.
For those that use ubuntu, I have a question. How would I get it to record sounds? I have my mic plugged in, and I tryed sound recorder.
Is there anything I need to configure to record sounds?
Thanks.

Open up alsamixer in the terminal and if you can see the sliders use the up and down arrow keys to adjust the volume and levels. If necessary, press press M to unmute the device selected. Then open up sound recorder and try it agian, make sure the proper device is selected in the sound recorder, or you can try sox, a command line versin of a sound recorder. it will only be 8k though. apt-get install sox then use the command "rec 1.wav" to start recording, then use control C to break out of it.
